This hardscape project in a Hudson, WI housing development included the installation of a 200-square-foot paver patio constructed in a herringbone pattern for maximum interlock strength and long-term durability. Johnson Lawn Solutions began by excavating the patio footprint and installing a properly compacted aggregate base to support the paver system and ensure proper drainage. We then installed the patio with precision alignment and edge restraint to maintain structural integrity and prevent shifting over time.
In addition to the patio installation, we demolished and replaced a failing corner retaining wall originally built by a previous homeowner. The new retaining wall was constructed on a stabilized base with proper leveling and compaction to provide improved structural support and erosion control. After completing the hardscape elements, we performed final grading of the surrounding lawn to promote positive drainage and create a smooth, finished landscape. This project highlights our expertise in professional paver patio installation and retaining wall construction in Hudson, WI, Somerset, Wi, New Richmond, Wi and throughout the St. Croix River Valley.
